On a beautiful spring day a while back, I met this senior and her mom at one of my fav spots- the Maitland Art Center. I don't know if it was her gorgeous blue eyes and blond hair or the overload of sunshine but it was one of my favorite sessions ever (I know I always say that - but it is true!).
Here are a few of our favorite images from this session with this soon - to - be Lake Mary High School graduate. I had a great time with C and her mom. It is always fun when moms tag along -- especially when the mothers are as crazy about their kids as her mom is! The bond between them was so sweet. Every mother and daughter should be so lucky!And her mom was an awesome assistant -thanks so much for your help!

I have been photographing this young lady for a few months now to get portraits she can add to her modeling portfolio. The pictures here range from November with beautiful fall color until spring time at a nearby lake. Lots of range this girl has! I can see a big future for her in print and commercial work - she doesn't take a bad picture!
She's a sophomore now, at Lyman High School and hopefully in a few years will be one of my Senior Model Representatives for her school. We had a blast taking these pictures. She was a joy and the camera just loves her. She is away at school in Boston and I felt so honored to be the one to do her senior pictures. Those of you you who have lived in Longwood for a while I'm sure remember her and hasn't she just gotten gorgeous! I promise you, we will all be hearing more about her in the futures. I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful senior recently. She and her family moved here from California and miss the rural life they left behind. When it came to identifying a location for her portraits, this lovely old home came to mind. Even though it is a restaurant now, it's charm is amazing -we had so much fun!

I photographed this family a few weeks ago. They were visiting her family in Orlando before dad left for a tour of Afghanistan. His boys were proud and so great to photograph. Mom was really a trooper and I am in awe of women like her who keep the home fires burning while their spouse is away keeping our country safe!
I am posting a few portraits from their session - this was a very cold day but sunny. Shivering and blue lips was a fear but no problem as it turned out! We walked to a creek at the back of their property and it was old Florida at it best. I felt like I'd found a gold mine. My favorites -shots of all the boys on the tractor. sometimes I am so pleasantly surprised during location sessions! Thanks again, you guys -you are a very special family.
